Dr. Hoda A. Alkhzaimi
Dr. Hoda Alkhzaimi is a renowned industrialization and economic development expert with over 17 years of experience in managing tech-based industrial investments in the UAE and globally. She is the CO-chair for the World Economic Forum Global Cyber Security Future Council, the Director of the Centre for Emerging Advanced Research Acceleration for Technology, AI, Security and Cryptology (EMARATSEC). She is also the Director of Centre of Cyber Security in New York University (Abu Dhabi), and a research assistant professor in New York University. She has specific interests in SDG-based investments and the development of cyber security and cryptology research and development ecosystems.
Dr. Alkhzaimi is an expert in cryptology, constructing trusted security architectures, and analysing cryptographic primitives for different environments in various products for the respective industries. She has a Ph.D. in Cryptanalysis from Denmark Technical University and has a specific interest in Space, Aerospace, and UAV and autonomous systems security.
Dr. Alkhzaimi is also the president of the Emirates Digital Association for Women, a non-profit organization that supports sustainable economic investments and development for diverse communities, with a specific focus on inclusivity initiatives. She is an advisor on the knowledge cluster on emerging economies and technologies for the World Economic Forum on its different tasks force on global future councils and on the global centre for the fourth industrial revolution. She has several board level seats in multiple global and UAE lead investment funds and industries. She is an active speaker and participates in an extensive list of forums, conferences, and events as an industry expert.
Dr. Alkhzaimi is leading the Emerging and Disruptive Technologies at Block Legal. She leverages her expertise as a core team member to develop business strategy & identify funding opportunities including representing company’s interests.
